Petar Dragoev

 02 p dravoev2013 Tai Chi Founder and Chief Instructor of Sports Club "Black Dragon", Petar Dragoev was born on the 19th of May 1983 in Sofia. He began practicing Chinese martial arts and especially Taijiquan (Tai Chi) in 1999 in the school "Green Dragon", led by Krassimir Dimitrov – The Chinese. In 2001 he was already an instructor at the school and the next year he became co-founder and chief instructor at the Center for Martial Arts “The Way" - Plovdiv. Between 2002 and 2005 he taught sports wushu (Chanquan, Daoshu, Gunshu) to children aged 6-12.

In 2002 he became the absolute champion of Tai Chi for Bulgaria winning first place in all three routines – hand form, short and long weapons at the national championship in the city of Stara Zagora.

In 2004 Petar won a World Cup in Tai Chi - short weapons, sword, at the international championship in Perugia, Italy. The next year he successfully defended his champion title and added to his accomplishments a bronze medal in the hand form routine.

In 2005 he founded Sports Club "Black Dragon" - Sofia, which is the natural successor of the school "Green Dragon". It was founded and led in 1977 by his mentor and teacher Krassimir Dimitrov – The Chinese. In SC “Balck Drgon” Petar Dragoev teaches Tai Chi Chen and Yang styles.

In 2013 he was elected for a Chairman of the Wushu commission at the Bulgarian Wushu Federation.

In May 2014 he achieved 2nd Duan of the European Wushu Grading System.

In June 2014 he defends Rank One (Copper Eagle) of the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan association. The same month he was appointed member of the board of Bulgarian Wushu Federation.
